branded products are only available through a medically licensed
professional or a program that is supervised by a medically
qualified professional. Individuals can not purchase Healthwise
branded products from Nutritional Resources Inc. Nutritional
Resources Inc. policy prohibits the sale of Healthwise branded

Answer
Healthwise products are packaged at our facility in
Grovetown, GA and at other FDA and USDA licensed and inspected
facilities in the United States. All Healthwise products are made in
America.
Are Healthwise Products Lactose free?
Answer
Many Nutritional Resources Inc. products contain
milk protein and milk protein fractions including whey, milk protein
isolates, and calcium caseinate. These protein sources contain small
amounts of lactose and as a result the products which contain these
protein sources can not be listed a lactose free. The amount of
lactose is less than 0.5 g. Individuals with medical conditions that
make them sensitive to the presence of lactose should understand
that lactose is present but that the amount of lactose is so small
that the products are frequently well tolerated even by sensitive
individuals.
Do Healthwise products contain caffeine?
Answer
Healthwise protein supplements do not contain
caffeine as a listed ingredient. Caffeine, however, is naturally
associated with chocolate, cocoa and some other flavors. When
caffeine is present, it is present in minute quantities. For
example, Healthwise Cappuccinos contain less than 0.50 mg of
caffeine, while a brewed cup of coffee can contain 95 mg of caffeine
or almost 100 times the amount of caffeine.
Products that contain egg?
Answer
With the exception of the Healthwise 15g Bacon Cheese Omelet, Healthwise 15 g protein supplements do not contain egg or egg proteins. Healthwise Meal 35 g Replacement Drinks contain egg whites. Eggs are found as an ingredient in Healthwise Lite Cookies, Healthwise Biscotti, and in the following Healthwise Shelf Stable Entrees: Chicken Pasta Parmesan, Vegetable Lasagna, Pasta Fagioli, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Beef Stroganoff.
Which Healthwise products do not contain aspartame?
Answer
Aspartame has been used
with a high degree of confidence for the last thirty years. There
are a number of individuals, however, for whom the consumption of
aspartame may be problematic. .Nutritional Resources Inc provides a
wide range of products that do not contain aspartame to accommodate
those needs. These include the following products which contain

What products contain gelatin?
Answer
With
the exception of the Healthwise 15g Protein Gelatin Deserts and
Healthwise Tomato Soup, when gelatins are used in Healthwise protein
products, they are used in combination with other proteins to
complete the amino acid profile. The following products contain
gelatin:
Chocolate Shake and Vanilla Shake).
All gelatins, with the exception of the gelatin found in the Gelatin Deserts, the Chicken Soup,and the Chicken Soup with Pasta, are provided from bovine sources.
Gelatin in the High Protein bars is derived from both bovine and porcine sources.
What Healthwise products contain gluten?
Answer
The
majority of Healtwise products do not contain any ingredients that
contain gluten. Healthwise products are not, however, certified as
gluten free. Healthwise protein supplements and bars are processed
in facilities which may also process product that contains wheat
(gluten) as well as eggs,milk, and soy beans. Additional ingredients
which may processed and therefore can not be excluded as possible
trace inclusion are peanuts,tree nuts,fish and shell fish. Known
allergens are displayed on our packaging.
